Inspired by the instinct of empowerment, this piece represents the human need to assert oneself and find purpose beyond basic needs. It symbolizes presence, existence, and the strength of knowing and showing oneself with authenticity and freedom. The Cuban trogons, birds that do not survive in captivity, are a symbol of this same spirit. Here, the image becomes a declaration: I Am.

Inspired by the confrontation humans have with their fears throughout life, this piece uses tigers to represent those fears. Each person faces them differently some confront, others fight, avoid, or surrender. Though it may seem like a battle, it is a lifelong dance, a recurring moment we must face over and over again.
